constitutes a file that has been properly prepared so that the prepress
department of the printer can output it correctly without any adjustments.
This includes all fonts and graphics embedded, process colors specified
in all color definitions, graphics resolution at 200-220 dpi in a
file that is saved in the PDF or EPS file format. Additional charges
may result or discount foreited otherwise.
Policy
-
All copy and artwork are subject to publisher’s
approval. Kanet Communications reserves the right to reject any
advertising, copy or artwork.

All advertising is accepted from new accounts, and
those whose credit has not been established, on a payment-in-advance
basis only. A 50% deposit is required to reserve ad space; balance
to be paid in full when publication goes to press. Accounts with
no deposit by the reservation deadline are in jeopardy of being
cancelled. Accounts not paid in full after publication will be billed
monthly at an annual interest rate of 18% (1.5% per month). If an
agency is required to collect the balance, the advertiser is to
pay for this expense.

The advertiser must meet the deadline schedule,
especially if submitting press-ready material (electronic files),
to be assured publication and to avoid forteiture of discounts.

No proofs or corrections will be made after their
respective deadlines. No proofs will be given for directory listings
or "links" ads.

Any correction, copy changes or art changes made
by the advertiser after materials have been received and prepared
for the printer will be charged for page makeovers, etc. at $50
per hour plus cost of materials. Cancellations after the space reservation
deadline constitute a forfeiture of the deposit.

All advertisers will receive a copy of The Guide
in lieu of a tearsheet. Kanet Communications is not responsible
or to be held liable for any omissions in the advertising beyond
the value paid for the advertising. An advertiser must claim the
error within 30 days from the date of the publication, or 14 days
from receipt of a copy of their published ad, whichever is later.

All ads will be positioned at the discretion of
the publisher unless requested. A 15% charge will be assessed for
preferential positioning guaranteed by contract.

Recognized advertising agencies will be discounted
15% when press-ready materials (electronic files) are provided.
